Over 11 hours (7:30 AM – 6:30 PM), explore cascading waterfalls, tropical botanical gardens, and charming local stops — designed for active explorers who want to see the Big Island's wild, scenic side.

The day kicks off with fluffy malasadas at Tex Drive-In before heading to the breathtaking Waipio Valley Lookout for panoramic views of the Valley of the Kings. At Akaka Falls State Park, hike the scenic loop trail through tropical rainforest to the spectacular 442-foot Akaka Falls. Continue to the Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden, a stunning collection of exotic plants in a valley overlooking the ocean.

Enjoy a local roadside café lunch, cool off with Kula Shave Ice, and browse Big Island Candies for handcrafted treats. Stroll through historic Hilo Town before visiting Rainbow Falls, then return to your hotel.
