Volcano is a village on Hawaiʻi Island that Go Hawaii lists, with Volcano House and the park campgrounds, as a place to stay for Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park. The park is southwest of Hilo on the Hawaiʻi Belt Road, under an hour's drive away, and takes in the volcanoes Kīlauea and Maunaloa. An eruption has been active on and off within Halemaʻumaʻu crater, at Kīlauea's summit.
