Things to do in Pepeekeo

Pepeʻekeo is a community on the Hāmākua Coast, the wet northeastern side of Hawaiʻi Island north of Hilo. The old Hawaiʻi Belt Road, now a scenic route off the highway, runs between Pāpaʻikou and Pepeʻekeo, and the Onomea and Donkey Trails start from it, near the Hawaiʻi Tropical Botanical Garden office.
