You'll enjoy the same extraordinary itinerary as the public tour — off-road driving to an exclusive trailhead, swimming beneath cascading waterfalls, exploring ancient Hawaiian sites, and a scenic picnic lunch overlooking sea cliffs — but with the flexibility and intimacy of having your guide and vehicle entirely to yourselves.

Your private group of up to 10 guests follows a relaxed one-mile guided walk through a private nature reserve, covering about 200 feet of gentle elevation gain over natural terrain. Cool off in waterfall pools fed by mountain streams, then settle in for a deli-style lunch at one of the island's most spectacular lookouts with views of remote valleys and the rugged Kohala coastline.

All gear is included: trekking poles, day packs, raingear, bug repellent, sunscreen, and towels. Lunch, snacks, and beverages are provided throughout the day. Bring comfortable closed-toe shoes, swimwear, and a reusable water bottle. Child safety seats, boosters, and backpack carriers are available upon request.
