Waterfall Hiking Tour

Hike through 300 acres of private agricultural land near Akaka Falls and discover three waterfalls you won't find on any public trail. This 2.5-hour guided tour follows approximately three miles of terrain through lush Hawaiian landscape with sweeping ocean views, culminating at the 250-foot Kolekole Falls — a towering cascade accessible only through this property. You'll also visit Kawainui Falls and a third private waterfall along the route.

The hike covers uneven terrain at a moderate pace, suitable for ages four and up. Closed-toe shoes are required — no sandals, Crocs, or Chacos allowed. Bring a water bottle and backpack if you have them (also available on-site). Tours run rain or shine, so pack a light rain layer if the forecast looks wet.

This is a hiking-only tour — no ziplines are included. It's a good option for families or groups where some members want the waterfall scenery without the aerial adventure. Arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled tour time for check-in at the meeting point on Old Mamalahoa Highway in Honomu.
