About this tour
The Gardens & Waterfall Tour is a self-guided experience at Umauma Falls & ZipLine Experience in Hakalau on the Big Island. Visitors drive along a concrete road directly to the falls and tropical garden after stopping at the visitor center to pick up a map or grab a snack. The route takes in a river walk, tropical plants and flowers, and a view of the triple tiers of Umauma Falls.
Because the tour is self-guided, visitors move at their own pace and spend as little or as much time as they like exploring the grounds. Sunblock and bug repellent are recommended before heading out.
