Volcanoes National Park Private Guided Hike

Take on the full Volcanoes National Park experience with a private six-hour guided hike covering approximately eight miles of the park's most iconic terrain. Starting from the Kīlauea Visitor Center, your naturalist guide leads your group along the rim of Kīlauea Iki Crater, through billowing steam vents, and deep into native Hawaiian rainforest before descending into the crater itself.

The route continues through the solidified lava lake on the crater floor — a landscape that feels otherworldly — and concludes at the legendary Thurston Lava Tube, one of the park's most visited natural formations. Along the way, your guide shares the geology, ecology, and Hawaiian cultural significance of this living volcanic landscape.
