Enriched Air "Nitrox" Course

Upgrade your diving with a PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) certification through Kohala Divers. This eLearning-based course is open to certified Open Water divers ages 12 and up. Nitrox offers longer allowable bottom times, more flexible dive profiles and surface intervals, and reduced nitrogen absorption — benefits many divers say lead to less fatigue after a day of diving. After booking, you'll receive a link to complete PADI's independent eLearning module at your own pace. Then meet your instructor at Kohala Divers for a final certification session where you'll learn to analyze a nitrox tank, fill out an enriched air log, and set your dive computer for nitrox. The course does not include dives, but once certified you can request nitrox fills on any future dive trip. Consider booking a two-tank dive trip on the same day as your certification session to put your new skills to use right away.
