Advanced Open Water Diver Course

Earn your PADI Advanced Open Water certification over three action-packed days of diving in Kona's warm, crystal-clear waters. This comprehensive course includes 6 adventure dives — covering Deep Diver, Underwater Navigation, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Naturalist or Fish ID — and culminates with Kona's world-famous Manta Night Dive as your final certification dive.

Taught by Master Scuba Diving Instructors, you'll build on your Open Water skills while exploring Kona's colorful reefs and unique underwater lava formations.

Course Schedule:

• Day 1: Two-tank local morning dives focusing on buoyancy and Peak Performance Buoyancy (7:45 AM – 3:00 PM)
• Day 2: Deep Diver and Underwater Navigation adventure dives
• Day 3: Naturalist or Fish ID dive, followed by the Manta Night Dive to complete certification

Requirements:

• Ages 18+ only
• Must have completed Open Water certification
• PADI eLearning must be completed before arrival (if not affiliated with Kona Honu Divers, a $90 fee applies)
• Minimum 2 students required (or additional private guide fee)
