A full-day, 12-hour guided tour from the Waikoloa and Kohala Coast resorts to Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park, with stops at the Big Island's most iconic landmarks along the way. The journey heads south through Kona coffee country to Bay View Farm, a working 24-acre farm overlooking Kealakekua Bay, for coffee sampling and a lesson on the growing process. Continuing through the Kona and Ka'u Districts, the tour stops at Punalu'u Bake Shop — the southernmost bakery in America — and Punalu'u Black Sand Beach, where green sea turtles are often found resting on the sand. At Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park, visit the Kīlauea Visitor Center, Volcano Art Center, and Sulphur Banks. Hike to Keanakāko'i Crater to see the dramatic sinkholes and road damage from the 2018 eruption, then explore the otherworldly lava formations at Mauna Ulu. A stop at the historic Volcano House rounds out the park visit. Lunch and dinner are included. All ages welcome, with pickup from Waikoloa and Kohala Coast hotels. A 48-hour cancellation notice is required for a full refund.
