Evening Volcano Explorer - Kona Pick-Up

A full-day, 12-hour guided tour from Kona to Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park with stops at some of the Big Island's most iconic sites along the way. The journey begins in Kona coffee country at Bay View Farm, a working 24-acre farm on the slopes of Mauna Loa overlooking Kealakekua Bay, where you'll sample 100% Kona coffee and learn about the coffee-making process. Continuing south through the Kona and Ka'u Districts, the tour pauses at Punalu'u Bake Shop — the southernmost bakery in America — and Punalu'u Black Sand Beach, where green sea turtles are often spotted feeding offshore or resting on the sand. At Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park, visit the Kīlauea Visitor Center, Volcano Art Center, and Sulphur Banks. Hike out to Keanakāko'i Crater to see the sinkholes and road cracks left by the historic 2018 eruption, then explore the striking lava landscape at Mauna Ulu. A stop at the historic Volcano House rounds out the park visit. Lunch and dinner are included. All ages welcome, with tours traveling in vehicles with large picture windows.
