Day one takes you to the Waipio Valley Lookout, the towering 442-foot Akaka Falls, the Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden, and a private waterfall swim at Kulaniapia Falls. Day two heads south to a Kona coffee farm, Punalu'u Black Sand Beach, and an in-depth 3-hour exploration of Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park including crater overlooks, Thurston Lava Tube, and steam vents. The evening ends with a restaurant dinner and stargazing near Mauna Kea under pristine dark skies.
The two tours can be scheduled on consecutive or non-consecutive days — the waterfall adventure is recommended first for the best overall experience. Each day runs approximately 10-12 hours.
Both days include a local-style picnic lunch, plus a restaurant dinner on the volcano day. Juices, snacks, water, park entrance fees, jackets, and rain gear are all included.
