Self-Guided Garden Tour Day Pass

Spend the day exploring hundreds of acres of tropical gardens, hiking trails, and waterfalls at Botanical World Adventures on the Hamakua Coast. Your day pass includes access to the groomed Rainbow Garden, a rolling arboretum, a rainforest canopy trail, and one of the world's largest hedge mazes — all at your own pace from 8 AM to 4 PM.

The included "Walking Stick" self-guided audio tour brings the gardens to life with narration from the garden director highlighting notable plants and the property's natural history. The lower 26 acres feature manicured gardens, while the Rain Forest Trail leads deeper into the property with progressively more challenging terrain, ending at Kamaee Falls — a pristine waterfall where you may spot endemic Hawaiian climbing fish making their way upstream.

From the arboretum's gently rolling hills, you'll catch 360-degree views spanning Mauna Kea to the Pacific Ocean. The gardens are open daily and work well on their own or combined with the zipline, rappelling, or waterfall dip experiences offered on the same property. Children enter free, and teens receive a discounted rate.
