About This Experience
Follow the journey from cacao tree to chocolate bar on Lavaloha's one-hour farm tour in Hilo. Board an electric bus for a guided ride through lush cacao orchards, where you'll learn about the unique growing conditions that make Hawaiian cacao some of the finest in the world.
Along the way, stop in the orchards to taste fresh cacao fruit straight from the tree, then visit the processing areas to see raw beans transformed into finished chocolate. The tour includes time in the chocolate lounge for tastings of multiple chocolate varieties, each reflecting Hilo's distinct terroir.
