Open Water Course
About this tour
Get your PADI Open Water certification in one of the best diving destinations on Earth. This 3-day course with Kona Honu Divers takes you from classroom theory through pool training to four open water dives in Kona's warm, clear waters — where you might encounter sharks, manta rays, and dolphins on your very first dives.
Taught by PADI Master Scuba Diving Instructors, you'll learn all the essential skills to dive safely and confidently. Premium rental gear is included: Cressi BCDs, Atomic regulators, SUUNTO dive computers, and 5mm full wetsuits.
Course Schedule:
- Day 1: Confined water session at the pool (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
- Day 2: Open water dives 1 & 2 on the boat (7:45 AM – 3:00 PM)
- Day 3: Open water dives 3 & 4 on the boat (7:30 AM – 2:00 PM)
