About this tour
Practice yoga surrounded by the lush foliage and natural sounds of the Kona Cloud Forest Sanctuary on this gentle flow class held at the Cloud Forest Temple. Led by experienced instructors, this approximately 60-minute session welcomes all levels - from complete beginners to seasoned practitioners - with fluid movements that invite you to connect mind, body, and spirit in an open-air forest setting.
Flow through asanas while syncing your breath with the rhythm of the cloud forest around you. The class concludes with a guided savasana meditation under the canopy. Organic cork yoga mats, cork blocks, yoga straps, and blankets for the final meditation are all provided - just show up ready to move.
Offered on Wednesdays and Thursdays at the sanctuary, which sits at a cooler elevation above Kailua-Kona (expect temperatures 10-15 degrees cooler than the coast). The setting is magical but rain is always possible in a cloud forest, so dress in comfortable layers. Maximum 10 guests per class. Ages 8 and up. Handicap accommodations are available with advance notice.
