Your naturalist guide leads your party through approximately one mile of sacred trails at 3,000 feet on the slopes of Hualālai volcano, exploring diverse reforested zones that have been lovingly cultivated since 1982. Discover rare tropical trees, towering ferns, bamboo groves, and flowering plants while listening for native Hawaiian honeycreepers in the canopy. Visit the higher-elevation montane areas that no shorter tour reaches, including sections that inspired filmmaker James Cameron and the cast of Avatar.
