About this tour
Cruise the Kona Coast aboard the KIBOU for a 2-hour whale watching tour with Iruka Kona. Departing from Honokohau Harbor, this family-friendly trip searches the calm western waters of the Big Island for humpback whales during the seasonal migration.
The tour includes snacks, juice, soda, and water. You're welcome to bring your own food and drinks - alcohol is allowed as long as it's not in glass bottles. Life jackets are provided.
Check-in is 30 minutes before departure at Honokohau Harbor (74-380 Kealakehe Parkway, Kailua-Kona). Free parking is available. All ages are welcome, including infants.
Whales are wild animals and sightings are not guaranteed, but if no whales are spotted, Iruka Kona offers a free rain check to reschedule for another day.
