About This Experience
Visit a working Kona coffee farm on this free 45-minute guided tour at Kailua-Kona Estate. Walk among the coffee trees, learn about the history of Kona coffee, and see the bean-to-cup process up close — from picking cherries (seasonal) to processing and roasting on a traditional fire roaster.
The tour includes a hands-on coffee picking and processing demonstration, an overview of Kona coffee history, and a photo opportunity at the farm's iconic Welcome to Kona sign. Optional coffee tasting is available, and beans and souvenirs are for sale in the shop.
All ages welcome. Up to 20 guests per tour. The farm is located at 75-5783 Pikake Place, Kailua-Kona. Arrive 10 minutes early for check-in. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring sunscreen — the tour is entirely outdoors.
