The 7-8 hour tour includes a moderate hike to the Fissure 8 cone summit overlooking the hardened lava river, plus steam vents, a massive tree mold, and remnants of the community that once stood here. The tour also includes Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park (Kilauea Visitor Center, Halema'uma'u Crater, Thurston Lava Tube) and a Hilo Discovery loop with Rainbow Falls and Queen Lili'uokalani Gardens.
