‘Akaka Falls Tour - Hilo Discovery and Volcanoes National Park Explorer

Combine three iconic Big Island experiences in one full-day tour: the 442-foot 'Akaka Falls, Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park, and the historic town of Hilo. This 7–8 hour guided adventure departs from Hilo-area hotels and the cruise ship port, covering the Hamakua Coast's lush rainforest, active volcanic landscapes, and cultural landmarks.

At 'Akaka Falls State Park, walk an easy loop trail through bamboo groves and wild orchids to the towering waterfall. In Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park, visit the Kilauea Visitor Center, Halema'uma'u Crater, Kilauea Iki Overlook, and the Thurston Lava Tube. The Hilo Discovery portion includes Rainbow Falls, Queen Lili'uokalani Gardens, the Onomea Bay scenic drive, and the King Kamehameha statue.

Lunch, snacks, and drinks are included. Pickup is from Hilo hotels, the airport, or cruise ship port. Cruise passengers receive a full refund if their ship cannot dock. All ages welcome; child car seats available with advance notice. Comfortable closed-toe shoes and a light jacket recommended.
