The Combo

The Combo is designed for groups that include both certified and non-certified divers who want to dive together. Kona Shore Divers guides your mixed-experience group through a shore-entry dive at one of Kona's near-shore reef sites, so everyone gets to explore the underwater world side by side.

You'll either drive or be shuttled to the dive site, gear up with your guide, and walk to the water's edge for a shore entry. Expect to encounter colorful reef fish, diverse corals, and possibly octopus, sea turtles, moray eels, or the occasional reef shark or dolphin.

A single-tank dive takes 2–3 hours, with an optional second tank extending the experience to 4.5–5 hours. Open to guests ages 10 and up. Note: after one dive, wait at least 12 hours before flying or driving to altitude; after two or more dives, wait at least 18 hours.

Kona Shore Divers is a mobile operation — they meet you at the dive site. For larger groups than what's available online, call to arrange a custom outing.
