1 Tank Shore Dive – Certified Night Dive

Experience the reef like never before on this 3-hour guided night dive along Hilo's coastline. As darkness falls, the underwater world transforms — eels emerge from their hiding spots, nudibranchs crawl across the reef, brittlestars and fireworms come to life, and a host of nocturnal reef fish appear that most divers never get to see.

Your experienced divemaster guides you safely through this hidden underwater world by flashlight, revealing creatures and behaviors completely different from what you'd encounter during the day. The thrill of diving under moonlight along Hilo's coast is an unforgettable experience for any underwater explorer.

All dive gear is provided, including top-of-the-line Atomic Z3 regulators and Oceanic BCDs — leave your equipment at home.

Requirements: Certified divers only (Open Water or higher). Must show proof of certification at check-in, be able to carry 50 lbs of equipment unassisted, and converse in English for safety briefings. Not suitable for guests who are pregnant, over 300 lbs, have back or mobility problems, or cannot swim unassisted in the open ocean. All divers must wait at least 12 hours before ascending above 2,500 ft after this dive.

Ages 12 and up. Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Cancellation with full refund available up to 48 hours in advance.
