Ultimate Circle Island Explorer (Kohala Pick up)

An approximately 11-hour circle-island tour for travelers who want to experience the Big Island's highlights in one full day, with pickup from Kohala Coast and Waikoloa resorts. The route heads south through Kona coffee country to Bay View Farm, a working 24-acre farm overlooking Kealakekua Bay, for 100% Kona coffee sampling. Continuing through the Kona and Ka'u Districts, stop at Punalu'u Black Sand Beach to spot green sea turtles beneath swaying coconut palms. At Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park, visit the Kīlauea Visitor Center, Kīlauea Iki Crater Overlook, and Steaming Bluffs, and walk through the historic Volcano House for views of the steaming caldera. On the island's lush east side, browse handmade confections at Big Island Candies in Hilo, drive through the historic Hilo waterfront, and stop at Rainbow Falls. The tour continues north to the Waipi'o Valley overlook, the Valley of Kings, where thousand-foot waterfalls cascade down steep cliffs to the taro farms and wild horses on the valley floor below.
