Volcano Shuttle Tour - 8AM Departure

This effortless half-day tour is designed exclusively for guests staying at North Hawai'i resorts, offering comfortable luxury transportation directly to Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park and back. With both 8 AM and 12 PM departures available, you can fit this volcanic adventure around your resort schedule.

Travel in style while knowledgeable local guides share insights about the island's geology, culture, and history along the scenic coastal and mountain route. At the park, visit the steam vents and Kīlauea Crater overlook — a UNESCO World Heritage Site — for an up-close look at one of the world's most active volcanic landscapes.

The tour includes a rest stop in Hilo, a visit to Gil Kahele Recreation Area, and a return trip via Saddle Road with sweeping views of both Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa. A deli-style lunch, snack basket, water, juice, sodas, hot towel service, binoculars, and umbrellas are all included.

Pick up is from West Hawai'i resorts north of Kona International Airport. Guests must be age 5 or older. Foldable wheelchairs are accommodated. A minimum of 6 guests is required for the tour to operate — the team will reach out in advance if minimums aren't met to arrange alternatives.
