About this tour
The PADI ReActivate Course offered by Hilo Ocean Adventures is designed for certified divers who have been out of the water for a while and want to get back to diving with confidence. Participants must hold an Open Water certification or higher to enroll.
Before arriving, divers complete a short PADI eLearning module on their own time to review dive theory. The session then moves to Wai'olena Beach for a shore dive that confirms those skills carry over to open-water conditions. Completing the course earns a new PADI ReActivate certification card, which is recognized at dive operations worldwide.
After completing the course, additional shore dives, boat dives, and night dives are available to book, subject to instructor approval and conditions. The course is rated easy.
