Step aboard Hilo's only commercial dive boat for this 2.5-hour one-tank boat dive along the pristine East Hawai'i coast. Guided by experienced local dive pros, this adventure offers an easy, scenic way to experience some of the healthiest coral reefs and marine life in the area.
After a short cruise along the coastline, descend below the surface to discover a colorful world of reef fish, coral heads, and volcanic formations shaped by ancient lava flows. Watch for Hawaiian green sea turtles (honu), eels, and octopus as you explore the incredible underwater landscape. With small group sizes, personalized guidance, and Hilo's calm east-side waters, this dive offers the perfect balance of comfort and exploration.
Typical dive depths range from 30 to 70 feet, with water temperatures of 75 to 80°F — a 3mm wetsuit is recommended. Tour includes one air tank, weights, expert divemaster guide, bottled water, and light snacks. Gear rentals (mask, fins, wetsuit, BCD, regulator) are available. Non-diving snorkelers can join for $129 when booking with a paid diver in the same party.
