About this tour
The Kona Deluxe Whale Watch Sail departs from Honokohau Harbor in Kailua-Kona, where passengers board the Spirit of Aloha catamaran and head out along the Kona Coast in search of humpback whales. The crew watches for spouts, tail slaps, and breaches while sharing narration about whale behavior and migration.
The catamaran has shaded seating and restrooms on board, and a full bar is included, covering tropical cocktails, beer, wine, soda, juice, and water. Transportation to the harbor is not included, so arriving at the meeting point independently is necessary. Plan to arrive before the listed departure time to allow for check-in and boarding.
Bring sunscreen, a light jacket, and a camera. Gratuity for the crew is not included in the booking price, though it can be added at checkout.
