Vanilla Experience Luncheon & Farm Tour

The Hawaiian Vanilla Company's signature experience combines a gourmet vanilla-inspired luncheon with a Vanilla 101 presentation and guided farm tour in Paauilo on the Hamakua Coast. Over two hours, you'll enjoy a multi-course meal crafted in their vanilla kitchen, followed by a walk through one of the few vanilla vineyards in the United States.

Lunch begins with a welcome beverage — vanilla lemonade, vanilla iced tea, or the house blend called a "Jimmy Boy." The meal features garam masala shrimp cooked in vanilla butter on crostini with vanilla pineapple chutney, vanilla bourbon marinated chicken breast on vanilla sweet bread with caramelized onions and vanilla mango chutney aioli, a fresh salad with vanilla raspberry balsamic dressing and vanilla honey peppered pecans, potatoes baked with a vanilla southwest rub, and Hawaiian vanilla bean ice cream for dessert. Complimentary coffee service is included.

Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options are available, and most allergies and dietary restrictions can be accommodated with advance notice. The experience is open to guests ages four and older. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended, and a rain jacket is advisable during the rainy season from November through April.
