The Mana Road tour lasts 3.5 hours and covers more than 20 miles of backcountry terrain. The route follows a historic Hawaiian cowboy trade route through lush pastures and remote countryside in the foothills of Mauna Kea, starting and finishing at Anna Ranch in Waimea. The ride includes a gentle climb into the foothills, flowy descents, and stretches of scenic cruising. Because the pace is guided and adjusted for the group, the 3.5-hour window accounts for photo stops, varied fitness levels, and time to take in the sweeping views of Mauna Kea and the Kohala Coast.

Weather in Waimea can be windy and rainy, and the tour operates in most conditions. Rain gear is provided as part of what is included with the tour, so you will have some protection if conditions turn wet during the ride. Arriving prepared for variable weather is a good idea. The only exception to the tour running is an operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, in which case customers receive a full refund.
