Kukio Beach

Kailua-Kona

A white sand beach on the North Kona coast, reached with a parking pass from the Hualālai Resort gate.

Kūkiʻo Beach is on the North Kona coast at Kahoiawa Bay, near the Four Seasons Resort and Kona Village Resort. The County describes a white sand beach with trails along the shoreline, and lists diving, swimming, fishing and hiking. Public parking passes are given at the Hualālai Resort entrance gate, and the access has parking, restrooms and showers. It is open from sunrise to sunset, and the County warns of hazardous footing, currents and waves. Kikaua Point Park, with its own white sand beach and limited passes at the Kūkiʻo Resort entrance, is on the same coast.
