The Zipline Adventure runs for 2.5 hours total. You should plan to arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled tour time to complete check-in, so budget about 3 hours for the full experience when planning your day on the Big Island. The 2.5 hours covers 7 ziplines, including a ride over the 250ft Kolekole waterfall and a final line across a 450-foot ravine that lasts more than a minute. Guides also share information about Hawaii's flora, fauna, and culture throughout the tour, so the time includes more than just zipping.

Several groups are not able to participate in this zipline tour due to safety restrictions. Guests who are pregnant cannot participate, and the tour is not recommended for anyone with neck, back, or knee injuries, chronic heart issues, or related conditions. These restrictions are in place regardless of fitness level. There is also a strict weight requirement: all participants must weigh between 40 lbs and 260 lbs. This limit is strictly enforced. All participants must complete a liability waiver before the tour begins, and anyone under 18 must have a legal guardian sign on their behalf.

Fully enclosed toe and heel shoes are required for the Zipline Adventure - open-toe shoes and sandals are not permitted. You can cancel the Zipline Adventure for a full 100% refund as long as you give at least 24 hours notice before your scheduled tour time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are not eligible for a refund. This policy applies regardless of the reason for cancellation.
