Umauma Falls 9-Line Zipline Tour

Soar over 14 waterfalls on 2 miles of spectacular ziplines at The Umauma Experience — widely regarded as the best zipline tour in all of the Hawaiian Islands. This 9-line course features four dual lines (ride side-by-side with a partner), a 200-foot suspension bridge crossing 100 feet above a river gorge with a water-filled lava tube and fern grotto, and jaw-dropping views of Mauna Kea and the ocean.

Highlights include Line #2 with views of a hidden 100-foot waterfall that most Big Island residents have never seen, Line #4 sending you over 2,000 feet of river and multiple cascades, and Line #7 delivering a close-up view of the famous dual-tier Umauma Falls from a private shelter accessible only to zipline guests. Line #9 zips you back to the Visitor Center to finish the adventure.

No experience necessary — ages 4 and up are welcome (weight: 35–275 lbs). The course involves moderate to advanced physical activity including climbing 3 flights of stairs and walking short distances. Closed-toe shoes required. Tours run rain or shine with rain gear provided if needed. Duration is approximately 1.5–3 hours.
