Private Big Island Experience

The Private Big Island Experience takes a small private group on a helicopter flight that covers a wide sweep of the Big Island, from active volcanic terrain to dramatic coastlines and remote valleys. The route passes over Kilauea, which has been continuously flowing for decades, then moves to the east side of the island for views of Hilo before following the Hamakua Coastline, with its wave-swept shores, tropical rainforest, and numerous waterfalls.

Continuing to the Kohala Coast, the flight reaches several valleys where the aircraft can hover close to tall waterfalls, giving passengers a direct look at their scale and force. From there, the route crosses Kohala Mountain and passes over the Gold Coast.

Travelers should know that weight restrictions apply per passenger and for the total group, and that check-in is required before the scheduled departure time.
