About this tour
This classic-styled motorcycle rental from Kona Scooters lets riders explore Kailua-Kona and the surrounding Big Island at their own choosing. The route is open to each rider, with beaches, lush terrain, and coastline all accessible while staying away from major traffic.
Every rental includes helmets, a lock, passenger pegs, and a digital display. A valid motorcycle license is required to rent, along with a debit or credit card. Bringing sunscreen is strongly recommended given the warm riding conditions. Rental periods are flexible, with hourly, daily, and week-long options available to fit different travel plans.
Riders should wear DOT-approved helmets, eye protection, and appropriate riding gear at all times. Before setting out, it helps to adjust the mirrors, check the brakes, and test the throttle and clutch to get comfortable with the bike. Hawaii has specific motorcycle traffic laws, so reviewing those in advance is a good idea. Staying hydrated and protected from the sun matters on longer rides.
