About this tour
The automatic transmission makes it straightforward to operate, and the small size helps with maneuvering through city streets. Riders can explore the coastline and beaches of Kailua-Kona while staying away from major traffic corridors. Rental packages range from hourly to weekly, so the scooter can fit a short outing or a longer stay. Note that this model does not allow passengers.
Each rental comes with helmets, a lock, underseat storage, and a grocery bag hook. Renters need a valid driver's license and a debit or credit card at pickup. Before heading out, take time to adjust the mirrors, check the brakes, and test the throttle. The listing also advises wearing sunscreen and staying hydrated given Hawaii's warm riding conditions. A DOT-approved helmet and eye protection are recommended along with appropriate riding gear. Staff at the pickup location are available to answer any questions before departure.
