About this tour
This night reef dive with Kona Honu Divers takes certified divers out to the Kona reef after dark to encounter nocturnal marine life that comes out after dark. The boat departs from the harbor in Kailua-Kona, so there is no need to stop at a shop beforehand. Divers sign their waiver online and meet the crew directly at the boat.
A divemaster leads each dive, and the price includes tanks, weights, dive lights, and nitrox. Dive equipment is available to rent if needed, and divers should bring their own towel and a bathing suit. Mineral sunscreens are required on board, as toxic sunscreens are prohibited.
This dive is designed for experienced, certified divers. Participants need a valid certification with proof, a minimum number of logged dives, and a recent dive within the past several months. Divers need to be in good health with no heart conditions and comfortable back-rolling off the boat. Arriving on time at the harbor is essential, as the boat departs on schedule.
