About this tour
Training takes place through shore diving in the waters of Kona, Hawaii, with instruction from PADI instructors throughout.
Good general health is required, and anyone with heart conditions cannot participate. A CPR mask is needed for the course and can be purchased at the shop if needed. Transportation to dive sites is not provided, so arranging a way to get there is the diver's own responsibility. Reef-safe sunscreen, sun-protective clothing, a reusable water bottle, and lunch and snacks are recommended items to bring along.
This course suits certified divers who want to take on a more active role in diver safety and gain hands-on rescue training. Waivers must be signed before the course begins, and the exact meeting time will be confirmed by the instructor ahead of the training days.
