About this tour
Kohala Divers offers the Private Charter aboard Namaka, a boat operating along the Kohala Coast on the Big Island. Groups can choose to dive, snorkel, or whale watch, and the itinerary is shaped around what the group wants to do. The crew selects specific sites after leaving the harbor, based on water conditions that day, to give every passenger a good experience regardless of skill level. Dive guides move at a relaxed pace underwater and encourage eco-respectful interactions with marine life. Snorkelers and non-diving passengers are welcome along, and the boat is equipped with heated showers, a private restroom, easy boarding ladders, a freshwater rinse tank and camera table, and a marine life library. All private charters include catered snacks, beverages, dive guides, and all needed dive and snorkel equipment. Uncertified divers in the group can add a discover scuba or open water certification course to join on the same charter.
