Rappel Basecamp Adventure to the Waterfall

Learn the fundamentals of rappelling and put them to use immediately on this one-hour basecamp adventure at Botanical World Adventures. Starting from a deck more than 45 feet above the gorge floor, you'll work through a progressive descent - beginning on a stable platform, transitioning to an angled section that simulates a rock ledge, then moving to a vertical face before stepping onto the actual cliff to reach the gorge below.

At the bottom, you're rewarded with views of the Hanapueo stream and a private waterfall accessible only through Botanical World's tours. A staircase leads back to the top so you can rappel again - and most guests find the second run even better once they're comfortable with the equipment. Your guides take your group through as many rounds as time allows.

All rappelling gear is provided, along with water, seasonal fruit, and free digital photos of your adventure. Guests must be at least 10 years old, wear closed-toe shoes, and tie back long hair. Groups are limited to eight people for a hands-on experience with the guides. This tour pairs well as a before-or-after complement to the zipline course. Check in 30 minutes before your tour at the guest center.
