You do not check in on the morning of the charter itself, so arriving in Kona with enough time to visit the shop the prior day is important for your booking. After checking in at the shop, guests drive themselves to the harbor on the day of the charter. Big Island Divers provides a map to the harbor, which is approximately 3 miles from the shop.
