About this tour
The Specialized Turbo Tero electric bike rental from Big Island Bike Tours gives riders access to a pedal-assist bike designed to handle a wide range of terrain. The electric motor senses pedaling effort and amplifies it, making climbs and longer stretches more manageable without replacing the effort of riding entirely. The bike includes front suspension, hydraulic disc brakes, and wider tires that provide traction on varied surfaces.
A companion app lets riders adjust the motor's power output across multiple modes, tuning the balance between performance and battery range. Anti-theft features allow the rider to disable the motor and activate a motion alarm directly through the app, and a personalized pin prevents unauthorized use.
Each rental includes a helmet and a spare kit with a tube, multi-tool, and patch kit. A lock is available on request. No-shows are charged the full rental price, so anyone needing to cancel should contact the operator by phone in advance.
