Waterfall Wonders Slingshot Adventure Tour - Navigation Guided

This navigation-guided tour puts travelers behind the wheel of a Polaris Slingshot, an open-air vehicle equipped with a Fosgate stereo system, lockable storage, and a fully integrated navigation system. The tour departs from Waikoloa and heads to the east side of the Big Island. Those who want a more engaging drive can opt for Old Saddle Road before connecting with New Saddle Road and dropping down toward Hilo. Rainbow Falls is the first major stop, followed by a drive along the Old Mamalahoa Highway to Akaka Falls. Depending on time, the route can extend to Umauma Falls, Laupahoehoe, the Waipio Lookout, or shopping in Waimea town.

The Slingshots are fully waterproof, making it practical to pack a lunch and stop at swimming holes along the way. Staff provide local tips to help travelers get the most from the route. The tour suits adults who prefer to explore at their own pace rather than follow a fixed group schedule. A private option is available. Hotel pickup is not offered, so travelers meet the operator in Waikoloa. The tour is weather dependent.
