North Coast Loop Tour - Navigation Guided

Drive a Polaris Slingshot along the Big Island's stunning Kohala Coast on this self-guided North Coast Loop tour. The navigation-guided route takes you north from Waikoloa along the oceanside highway with views of Maui on clear days, through the transition from dry lava landscape to lush tropical greenery, and up to the Pololu Valley lookout at the island's northern tip.

On the return leg, you'll pass through the historic town of Hawi — a great spot to browse local shops or grab a bite — before taking the Route 250 mountain road back. This stretch climbs 3,000 feet with sweeping views of the west coast, and the Slingshot handles the curves beautifully.

Available in four-hour ($250) or eight-hour ($350) rentals. The Slingshot seats two, features a built-in stereo and navigation system, lockable waterproof storage, and requires no special license. The Aloha Motorsports team provides local tips and route guidance before you head out.
