North Coast Loop Tour - Navigation Guided

This tour heads north along the Kohala Coast, passes through the town of Hawi (pronounced Ha-Vee), and continues to Pololu Valley at the end of the road. As the route rounds the northern tip of the Big Island, the landscape shifts from dry terrain to lush, tropical growth. In Hawi, there is time to browse local shops or grab a bite at one of the restaurants in town. The return leg follows a mountain road that climbs in elevation, with the vehicle's handling making the winding drive engaging.

The vehicle is a Polaris Slingshot, a side-by-side equipped with a Fosgate stereo system, lockable storage, and a fully waterproof build, so packing a lunch or shopping in Hawi is easy. An onboard navigation system guides the route, letting travelers stop where they like and move at their own pace. Staff provide local tips to help travelers make the most of the stops along the way. The tour is rated easy. No hotel pickup is offered, so travelers need to meet at Aloha Motorsports Waikoloa in Waikoloa Village before heading out.
