About this tour
North Pacific humpback whales migrate from Alaska to Hawaii each winter to breed, give birth, and care for their young in the calm bays surrounding the islands. The Royal Humpback Whale Experience departs from Hilo and travels along the East Hawaii coastline, where the captain and crew watch for whale spouts, tail slaps, pectoral fin waving, and full breaches.
