Dolphin Dreaming

Dolphin Dreaming departs from Keauhou Harbor and heads out along the Kona coastline by boat. While the vessel is underway, the captain searches for dolphins near shore, and the crew delivers an educational briefing on local sea life. Dolphins in this area tend to gather in small family groups, resting and socializing in shallow, protected bays along the coast. The tour also includes snorkeling at one or more reef sites, where guests can swim among coral, schools of fish, manta rays, Hawaiian spinner dolphins, spotted dolphins, and other sea life. Snorkel gear, snacks, and beverages are provided.

Both beginner and experienced snorkelers are welcome. Guests should apply reef-safe sunscreen before arriving and bring a towel, hat, and sunglasses. Check-in takes place at Keauhou Harbor, so plan to arrive a bit before the scheduled departure time. The tour requires a minimum number of passengers to operate, so that is worth keeping in mind when planning.
