This full-day private fishing charter departs from a dock in Kailua-Kona on the Big Island, where a first mate meets the group on arrival. Before heading out, the crew consults with guests to shape the trip around their goals, then aims to reach productive fishing grounds early in the day. The crew works with trolling, artificial lures, real bait, and live bait when it is available, providing hands-on support for catching and handling fish throughout the trip. All rods, reels, tackle, and lures are provided, along with cold bottled water. The crew handles catch cleaning and filleting for fish that fall within the weight limit. Gratuities for the crew are not included. Guests may bring alcohol in moderation, though hard liquor and glass bottles are not permitted.
