Majestic Waterfalls Tour

The Majestic Waterfalls Tour by Malahini Tours departs from Hilo on the Big Island and covers a mix of waterfall viewpoints, a garden, a beach, and a local candy shop. The route takes visitors through tropical rainforest to Akaka Falls State Park, where a walk through dense greenery leads to a full view of Akaka Falls. Rainbow Falls comes next, a spot connected to local stories of the moon goddess Hina. The tour also stops at Liliuokalani Gardens and at Big Island Candies for a taste of local sweets before finishing at Richardson's Beach, where black sand meets the shoreline. Park admission and bottled water are included. Snacks are not provided, so bringing your own is an option. The tour meets in Hilo, and guests should arrive a short time before departure. Private van charters are available for groups who prefer a dedicated vehicle, with options that accommodate different party sizes.

Hawaii’s Volcanoes National Park Tour

A local guide drives through historic banyan-lined streets before stopping at Liliuokalani Gardens and Rainbow Falls. The tour then heads into Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, where stops include the Crater Rim Lookout, active steam vents, and the Nahuku lava tube, with the guide sharing information about Kilauea's volcanic activity throughout. The day wraps up with a tasting stop at Big Island Candies. Park admission and bottled water are included. Meals and snacks are available for purchase along the way. Guests who hold a National Park Pass or military ID should bring it along. A jacket or layers are worth packing, as temperatures at the park summit can drop noticeably. Tour stops inside the park may change depending on park conditions and volcanic activity. Removing rocks, sand, coral, or other natural materials from the island is not permitted.
