Hula Daddy Coffee Plantation Tour
Guests arrive to find coffees waiting at check-in, then move to an overlook of the plantation where the farm's history of growing coffee in the Kona region is explained. The walk continues through the property, taking in the various flora and fruit growing on the farm alongside the coffee trees, so guests can see what a coffee tree actually looks like up close. Depending on the season, the full growing cycle from flower to bean may be on display, and picking a coffee bean straight from the tree to taste is sometimes possible. From there, the tour moves into the roasting room, where guests learn how the coffee is roasted and may be able to watch a live roasting cycle. The tour closes with a tasting of selections from the farm's Limited Edition Allocation List. Guides tailor each visit to the group's interests and encourage questions, photos and videos throughout. No hotel pickup is provided, so guests arrange their own transportation to Holualoa on the Big Island. The difficulty level is easy.
